Level 3 NOC Engineer

Future Opportunity — Not Currently Hiring

Position Overview

NOCDOC is seeking a highly skilled Level 3 NOC Engineer to join our 24×7 Network Operations Center team. This senior technical role is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise network and server/infrastructure environments — including virtualization, storage, cloud, and Microsoft infrastructure — across a diverse portfolio of managed services clients.

The Level 3 NOC Engineer serves as the highest technical escalation point within the NOC for complex networking incidents, critical infrastructure outages, and advanced troubleshooting efforts spanning both domains. This role provides technical leadership across routing, switching, firewalls, wireless, network security, Windows Server, virtualization, storage, cloud connectivity, and enterprise infrastructure technologies.

Working closely with engineering teams, architects, security teams, project stakeholders, vendors, and customer organizations, this position helps ensure network and infrastructure environments are highly available, secure, resilient, and aligned with industry best practices.

The ideal candidate is an experienced engineer with strong enterprise networking and systems/infrastructure expertise, security awareness, documentation discipline, and the ability to mentor engineers while improving operational maturity.

This position may be performed remotely or from our office facilities. Candidates must be comfortable supporting a 24×7 operational environment, including scheduled evening, overnight, weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations as required.
